Ice sculptures

You might come for the wildlife, but in the end it is the ice of Antarctica that captures your imagination! Unbelievable formations that are sculpted by wind and waves are waiting here at the bottom of the world for any who care to see them. An eerie blue light often emanates from within the ice itself, and the shapes are like the most sensuous of sculptures known to man. I hope you enjoy my attempts to capture these pieces of art!
